The Naval Update has been postponed.

Honestly, this is a blessing. An unbaked pie brings no pleasure in consumption, and it’s better to wait for a fully baked one in February. Check out the post from Alistair over on Facepunch — he summed up the situation eloquently.

Today’s patch will just be a forced wipe at the usual time. No update stream. A couple things, along with a fresh DLC, will land with the Christmas update on the 18th.

I want to acknowledge the whole team at Facepunch — not only for their tireless efforts in bringing updates to this game for over a decade, but also for their willingness to make a tough call in the interest of gameplay and stability. Thank you for your hard work. ❤️
