5:00pm EST - A new week in Rust development and the team is working on fixes and a little base decoration. There was an update last Friday, so no big update is scheduled for this week, however, a small (required) patch was just released with these fixes...
Float / fly exploit fixed
Since the last update, there has been an exploit allowing people to float into the sky by pressing F1 when they are moving up a ladder. As of this patch, Garry has implemented a fix which will prevent this from being possible.
Door collider fix
Since several changes to the building system a couple weeks ago, the colliders for freshly placed doors have been a little wonky, resulting in C4 sometimes traveling straight through. Andre has pushed a fix which makes sure the door colliders are solid all the time.
River transparency fixes
Last week, the new water system was applied to rivers. Although it looks great, this change did introduce some issue with transparencies, particularly with the holosight dot and building plans. Diogo has done some tweaks to ensure this is a thing of the past.
Vince is working on some new textures for signs and even added frames. No visuals on this as of yet because it is on a different branch, but stay tuned throughout the week as it merges into main.
